This page will contain information on the original RPGMaker game Yume Nikki, as well as several fangames inspired by it.
Yume Nikki is a surreal adventure game, or "walking simulator" released in 2004 by a creator under the pseudonym "Kikiyama." It has no discernable plot, and focuses mainly on walking through the various areas in the main character's dreams to collect "effects."
The game is somewhat of an obscure cult classic, and has inspired several fangames. Two of the fangames featured on this page are lol's .flow and the collaborative game Yume 2kki.
