About Yume 2kki
Yume 2kki is a free-to-play surreal exploration game and self-proclaimed fan-made sequel to Yume 2kki. Unlike Yume Nikki and .flow, Yume 2kki does not have a single developer, and is instead a collaborative effort by many different people. Due to this fact, there are hundreds of different worlds you can explore, as well as many more effects and events to find. There is also not a single ending, but many different endings. Players can also collect wallpapers for Urotsuki's computer.
This fan-game follows Urotsuki, a young girl with a similar dislike for leaving her apartment as Madotsuki. Like Yume Nikki, Yume 2kki's gameplay centers on collecting effects in Urotsuki's dreams. Since there are many different endings, collecting the effects is less of an end-goal and more a helpful task. Each effect allows you to explore different areas, find new events, and discover new reactions to NPCs, among other things.
Yume 2kki, despite being made by many different people, generally seems to have a more upbeat theme than Yume Nikki or .flow. It is one of the most popular fan-game derivatives of Yume Nikki due to its size and constant updates.
